"Enjoy the Silenz" was a 20-hour durational participatory art event held at Bak Lim Sa (Catskill ZenDo), a Zen monastery located on 180 acres. Organized by Jon Santos and Min Hee Park, the event featured an array of ambient, drone, and experimental music, as well as workshops, performance art, and meditation, creating an immersive experience of sacred space and community engagement. Attendees participated in collective activities led by artists and head monk Sunim Hyesong, engaging in an immersive atmosphere focused on creativity, connection, and exploration of sacred spaces. The event emphasized a deep connection to both the landscape and the community, encouraging all present to experience the full duration and embrace the spirit of shared reflection.
