Ye Zhu

Ye Zhu is a Brooklyn-based artist whose work merges painting, sculpture, and social practice. Born in Taishan, China and raised in Sunset Park, Brooklyn, Zhu’s richly layered installations reflect on migration, memory, and material transformation. Fusing personal narrative with global histories of displacement, Zhu creates sensorial constellations that offer space for healing and reflection. Recent exhibitions include solo shows at DIMIN and Harkawik, and public installations on Governors Island and in New Hampshire.
