Tara Mei Smith is an artist, environmental advocate, and Executive Director of Extra Terrestrial Projects, a nonprofit focused on ecological restoration. Based in New Mexico, she promotes the planting of native grasslands to help mitigate climate change and supports sustainable community practices. Tara Mei is also a fellow of the "Practices for Change" program at Arizona State University's Herberger Institute, where she works on community-led climate solutions. Her interdisciplinary work spans environmental justice, cultural preservation, and art, aiming to create a positive ecological impact.
