Nancy H Kim

Nancy (they / she) is a Korean-American designer, architect, creative director, and sound artist, whose work navigates across sculpture, sound, and space. They hold a Master of Architecture from Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where they received The MIT Energy Initiative Grant, CAMIT Art Grant, and Louis C. Rosenberg Thesis Fellowship, and a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Parsons School of Design, where they taught design studios.


Currently, they are co-founder and director of design & creative at Pocketbook Hudson. Previously, they were design director at Ace Hotel Group, and led design at craft-forward companies like Henrybuilt. They are certified in Integrative Hypnotherapy and Healthier Materials and Sustainable Building.


Nancy has shown work and performed at places like Arario Gallery, Reykjavik Art Museum, MIT Keller Gallery, Van Alen Institute, The Glass House, Issue Project Room, Basilica Hudson, Opus 40, Trans Pecos, and many DIY spaces.
