Megha Barnabas is a Brooklyn-based multidisciplinary artist working in performance, choreography, and film. She creates solo works and is a member of the art collective Yemenwed. Megha's projects explore movement and cultural expression, often merging classical Indian dance, such as Odissi, with contemporary experimental performance. Her work has been presented at various notable venues, including Tate Modern, Palais de Tokyo, MoMA P.S.1, and Carnegie Hall. Megha has led numerous workshops, emphasizing movement as a form of self-expression and community connection, and is actively involved in social justice efforts in NYC.
