Logan Takahashi

Logan Takahashi is a Brooklyn-based electronic musician, producer, and DJ, and one half of the duo Teengirl Fantasy. Classically trained on violin before forming Teengirl Fantasy at Oberlin, he releases solo work on Ghostly International.

Approach. Takahashi bends his conservatory training into minimal, sample-driven electronic music drawn from family history and late-'80s video-game aesthetics, stripping back Teengirl Fantasy's lush textures toward a sparser, more meditative palette — the register of the ambient set he performed at Ontopo's 2019 Catskill Zendo retreat.
